Bwtech’s intelligent monitoring tool hits the market with SKY endorsement

NetWarden detects critical areas and network issues that affect more users. The product promises to improve service assurance and reduce OPEX.

Every day mobile operators need to identify and solve network problems to guarantee the quality of the service provided. This process involves a thorough investigation of elements, parameters, and KPIs, demanding a lot of time from the responsible teams. In this scenario, intelligent automation appears as a promising path to achieving the quality and efficiency expected.

NetWarden, a tool developed by Bwtech, automates the identification of anomalies through Machine Learning algorithms, being a great ally to the modernization of operators. The solution proactively monitors the network, identifying inconsistencies in its elements and presenting them in an intuitive interface.

The product was endorsed by SKY, the biggest pay-TV operator by satellite in Brazil. Throughout the project, the operator received full support from the Bwtech team to adjust the tool to the company’s needs.

“NetWarden is very intuitive, drawing attention to the proactive indication of parameter changes and operational network failures related to the worst daily cells.”, said Antônio Alvino, RF Optimization Supervisor.

Based on SKY’s needs, the Affected Users functionality was developed. It allows sorting and filtering anomalies based on the number of impacted customers. With this, it is possible to identify the network problems that affect the highest number of users, optimizing the time to solve demands and ensuring end consumers’ satisfaction.

The partnership was also welcomed by the Bwtech team. Pedro Dias, Head of Product, said “It was very interesting to work in partnership with SKY, in which we were able to see not only a real case of the value that NetWarden has the potential to deliver, but also the ability to adapt and evolve the product to the operator’s existing processes.”
